Seen here in grey, these Cabourg Boxer Shorts from French atelier A.P.C. are made from a super soft cotton jersey which sits comfortably against the skin and brings a premium finish to an everyday essential. The legs have been cut to a loose fit and the waistband is elasticated with a small square woven label positioned centrally on the front showing simple ‘A.P.C.’ lettering. Below this the fly is fastened by a single button and an insert at the crotch has been added for additional comfort. The legs have straight cut hems.
Based in Paris, A.P.C. are known for their distinctive simplistic design style which focuses on fabric, cut and quality to ensure only the best finish across everyday pieces. Launched in 1987 by Jean Touitou, A.P.C. initially stood out from the crowd due to being so minimal in comparison to loud, garish trends of the time and has continued with the same vision into modern day. This season Toutiou introduced the ready-to-wear show by saying “The older I grow, the less subtle I want to be,” which gives a hint to what is included within the collection.
