This vintage 1st-phase style concho belt by late Navajo artisan, Susie James, has ten conchos on a brown leather belt strap. Each of the conchos have scalloped edges with detailed stamp work on the outside. Through the middle is a diamond cut out that allows for the conchos to be threaded onto the belt. The belt buckle also has gorgeous stamp work throughout its entirety giving it a cohesive look. This belt will never go out of style.
Susie James (1954-2012; Navajo) Active since 1990s. Traditional stamp work; set stones; holloware. Daughter of Marcella James.
